Blue Ant Media/BiteTV have recently wrapped principal photography of Guidance – Season Two. Directed by Jared Sales, the second season of Guidance catches up with Davey, Bruce and Steve as they attempt to guide a new crop of students to success. Joining the cast this season is Charlotte Hegele (Bomb Girls), Zoe Cleland, Janet Van De Graaf, Alex Choat, Nikki Grant, Allison Hossack (AMC’s The Killing), Inessa Frantowski (Cock’d Gunns) and Matt Murray. Season Two will debut in the summer on Bite.ca as 24 web episodes, then in the fall it will air as six half hour episodes.
The episodes will begin airing on Monday, August 20th! New episodes will be up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We also will lots of extra goodies on the site in between new episodes so check back often. Also so more fun stuff is in the works, but we will discuss that later!
Finally plans are in place to formerly launch the Mind Control Media produced series, “Guidance”.
Starring Rob Baker, Adam Cawley, Pat Smith, Kayla Lorette, Sam Earle and Karen Parker, the show focuses on three inept High School Guidance Counsellors who are in over their head with the students they were assigned to guide.
New episodes happen every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at http://guidance.bite.ca and will also air in the fall on Bite’s broadcast channel.
Last week Mind Control Media had the pleasure to produce a PSA for Wounded Warriors, a charity that helps troops returning from combat get the mental health support they need, as well as raise public awareness to the issue. The PSA was written by Adam Cawley who stars alongside Rob Baker. Special thanks to the Whitby Health Centre for allowing us to use their facilities as a location. After a hectic but enjoyable weekend of shooting , fifteen episodes of “Guidance” are now in the can. This hilarious series revolves around three High School Guidance who may be in over their head. Mind Control Media has just finished production on a pilot for the Globe and Mail. It’s an offshoot of their widely popular Drive section. Hosted by columnist Peter Cheney, Drive TV explores not only car culture, but also utilizes a fresh style to tell unique stories related to cars.
Mind Control Media is also gearing up to shoot a 15 episode web series entitled, “Guidance”. The comedy series revolves around three high school guidance counselors and their mentorship of three students. The series will star Rob Baker (Second City Mainstage), Adam Cawley (Second City Mainstage), Patrick Smith (Suburbanite), Kayla Lorette (That’s So Weird), Sam Earle (Degrassi) and Ely Henry. The series will debut online sometime in February. Stay Tuned.
